Hello! I’m Robert Richter—a video journalist, filmmaker, and producer with a Bachelor in Media Arts, focused on delivering impactful short-form documentaries for media clients and global brands. With projects recognized by Cannes Media, New York Festivals, CIVIS, and the Grimme Awards, I bring a strong commitment to quality and a refined approach to visual storytelling.

I work best solo or with small teams, where I can fully integrate the roles of director, DoP, editor, and producer, ensuring a cohesive, high-standard outcome from concept to final cut.

Based in Berlin, with formative experiences in Moscow and Tokyo, I’m driven by a global perspective and have completed shoots in over 100 countries across six continents. Working lean and traveling light, I capture stories that connect across cultures.
